The only thing thorn needs is a mag size reduction back to 6 then it will still be top tier but completely balanced.

No. Reduced effective range or stability

The range is fine and the stability is fine as well. The problem is that it has so many rounds you can keep spamming it with its high rate of fire. Reduce the mage size and players can't spam anymore. You haven't put much thought into how to actually balance this gun, have you?
