Envy, considering that it does have a rather significant political movement based off of it, probably has a higher body count than anything else. And that's not considering the enormous individual toll envy has taken on humanity on a more personal level from the dawn of its existence: how many crimes have been perpetrated because someone wanted something someone else had? Not just theft but assault, defamation, murder, -blam!-, you name it. How many wars have started because men wanted other men's land, women, and fortunes?
