The only reason thorn has everybody so up in arms is because it's the only DoT weapon in the game (minus grenades and solar throwing knives) I don't necessarily think it's overpowered, but the way it's used more often then not is what irks me. Player to player I outgun thorn with the Lash or Red Death quite often, but when a player smacks two bullets and runs and waits for the DoT, that's when it's lame. A nerf won't do any good, when this game dropped thorn was horrible (trust me, my first exotic) and I still wrecked with it in pvp. It's just the dot. Not the range or fire rate or anything. A suitable counter would be more weapons with a DoT effect, not nerfing the only weapon that has one.
