I use the thorn a lot....mainly because I know its currently OP. Yes this weapons needs to be adjusted. Just a minor tweak really. The DOT should not be enough to kill after 2 HS. so 2 HS plus DOT should not be a kill. Now 2 HS (with one of the shots being the final round perk) + DOT should be enough to kill. So that is the balancing point that needs to be shot for. It could then 2 HS kill if all the perks align (just like the hawkmoon) but otherwise its a 3 shot kill with the DOT being a mechanism of delaying regeneration not a mechanism of killing your enemy.
