Hawkmoon kills faster. It's actually possible because of the luck in the chamber bonus to get a 1 hit kill headshot.
Just saying. I've done it before. Not to say I'm good at crucible (cause I'm terrible) it's just that Hawkmoon is pretty bad ass.
Nerf that shit now! Haha just kidding I don't care.

Except half of the player base doesn't have access to Hawkmoon...

It's still a powerful gun. There's also the Vex and any fusion rifle or shotgun. There are a lot of "OP" weapons in this game. It's an over used term though to be honest.

Also Hawkmoon will be available to X Boners later this year.
