Hawkmoon can 2 shot. Thorn will 2 shot and has more aim assist and I think a better range. I'm not overly against thorn. It just annoys me. Yesterday I played a team of 6 on iron banner each one had thorn. They were rubbish and my team of randoms won (ha ha) but I spent ages crouching behind cover after every kill waiting for the poison to go. That's annoying.
