To all those 'thorn is not OP' posts.
You guys always say its not the gun, but its the player's fault. I disagree. This gun can put the best crucible player to the ground with 2 headshots. This gun IS overpowered and you thorners just don't want it nerfed.
If you want to flame me for not being good in crucible, go ahead. Idc, my skill is higher than yours anyway. I still have to see an flamer with a higher kd here...
Edit: all these scrubs flaming don't want their thorn nerfed.... ;)
Edit: most of you guys could only whine about 'lucky' headshots, so i changed that.
Yet another Edit: i'm not saying that the thorn owns me, i outgun them 80% of the time. But that doesn't take away the fact that its too powerful. A simple stability or range nerf should suffice.

3 Repliesthe reason everybody hates getting killed by thorn is because it is pretty much the only gun you know exactly what it is when you get hit. over the last iron banner i got killed by a variety of guns, whether it was thorn, hawkmoon, last word, vex, mida, shotguns, snipers, red death, bad juju, suros etc. yeah more people are using hand cannons over the rest but at least its not like before the auto rifle nerf where every body used auto rifles. i really dont mind they way it is now, yeah auto rifles could use a little buff to get them competitive again, but i used suros a little this iron and it wasnt bad, also people are keeping their distance between enemies more so not as many shotguns to the face. I think this is more the way bungie wants crucible it be where people are using a variety of weapons. i didnt even touch my thorn, i mainly used my vex hawkmmon or suros with sniper or shotgun

Don't have it nerfed it'll nerf all hand cannons. But instead make armor that is burn resistant or turn our useless capes and shit into shit like that

2 RepliesWhy do people think it two shots? It three shots just like any other hand cannon. The Dot is what kills you, and I don't think most thorn users rely on it anyways cause I sure don't. As far as I'm concerned, mark of the devourer makes sure you can't run away from a fight without taking damage. People who let the dot do the work are the ones that's the problem, so it's not the gun but the user.

I'm don't think thorn needs a nerf and I would be okay with a nerf cause I don't use it but rather thorn being nerfed how about autorifles being buffed so they could be competitive with hand cannons and not having to worry on nerfing all weapons to oblivion.

Actually no. If the worst person out there gets thorn, they are still gonna suck. If they have bad aim then they probably aren't even gonna hit your targets.

The weapon everyone will be using if thorn gets nerfed is red death, which can kill in two head shots btw so why isn't anyone complaining about that? How about instead of asking for Nerfs we ask for auto rifle and scout rifle buffs.

5 RepliesI'm a thorner hardcore, second exotic I ever maxed, but it should take a little more skill to use, I breeze through people, yet somehow I still suck haha. But anyways hand cannons should get nerfed again, auto rifles should be buffed by x1.3 damage, that's it!

2 RepliesSo the people who don't share your OPINION are automatically just flamers who don't know what they're talking about? That's a little full of yourself don't you think? Thorn is not op. Strafing it is so easy, and anything med-close is even easier. I'd say MIDA is way more frustrating to play against with the ridiculous strafe speed and even that is not op. There's about 5 guns that all play very differently but have the same ttk. I suck bad with thorn, have troubles going positive. But the vex, TLW, MIDA and juju make crucible easy for me. Each player has different play styles, strengths and weaknesses. What's good for some is terrible for others. You just have to know how to properly counter the gun
