To all those 'thorn is not OP' posts.
You guys always say its not the gun, but its the player's fault. I disagree. This gun can put the best crucible player to the ground with 2 headshots. This gun IS overpowered and you thorners just don't want it nerfed.
If you want to flame me for not being good in crucible, go ahead. Idc, my skill is higher than yours anyway. I still have to see an flamer with a higher kd here...
Edit: all these scrubs flaming don't want their thorn nerfed.... ;)
Edit: most of you guys could only whine about 'lucky' headshots, so i changed that.
Yet another Edit: i'm not saying that the thorn owns me, i outgun them 80% of the time. But that doesn't take away the fact that its too powerful. A simple stability or range nerf should suffice.

Edit: Damn this post has been bashed on. The hate is real! I'm just putting down my opinion and some facts, get over it. Also, my skill actually has nothing to do with the stats of the thorn, its crazy right?

13 RepliesI love how no one is hating on hawk moon red deth the vex or the last word. You can beat a thorn with any of these. Why does thorn get the hate? With the latest fix to the vex you can kill Evan faster than the last word . Red deth can kill some one in2 burst. Hawk moon can 2 shot some one. There are all theses broken guns but the only one people are trying to nerf is thorn, can anyone tell me why?

As far as i know, iron banner KD never has reflected on regular KDs. My iron banner KD last iron banner was around 2.5-3 and it didn't affect mine at all, and I played over 100 games on my hunter alone. Considering I had less than 1k games, it should've had a noticeable impact.

Thorn is not as op as many people think. The main reason people get irate with it is because the poison effect and good use of tactics. Example Hit with thorn throw a tracking grenade change position and watch them run or die. If the player doesn't run and fights back most of the time they will win.

Its not that thorn is OP its that everyone has the damn gun, IMO there are a lot of exotics that are more powerful than thorn its just that everyone has a thorn since its from a bounty

9 RepliesI have a 2.3 KD and think it should be nerfed. Take out that stability upgrade, and make the tick do 5 instead of 7, so that way it's impossible to kill with 2 shots. The last word should have the damage fallout a lot quicker at mid- long range.

All I want is my screen to stop turning -blam!-ing neon green. It's obnoxious and annoying as -blam!-. The gun is more annoying then any other gun in the game. This thing needs a serious range nerf. I'm fine with rof impact and even the dot. However the dot should be shortened as well as the range. I shouldn't have to sit there for friggen 15 seconds waiting for my shields to regen just to get hit again with the next thorn. Sure you tools will claim play better but come on honestly on a map the size of my pinky finger how the hell do you not get hit with at least 1 thorn shot with some scrub spamming one in your general direction with that rof. Mix that with a little iron banner lag and you got some salty mother -blam!-ers really mad about thorn lol. Personally I don't think it's op. I think it still hits from way to far and my opinion about dot really just stems from how annoying the damn gun is. While I'm on annoying things please reduce the volume of the kill shots. One time I had my headset too loud and damn near shit my pants after getting hit with a sniper shot.
