Or perhaps not. There's always the possibility that they are wrong.

There is always the possibility that we are all wrong. There is the possibility that this is all a dream. That does not mean this is a dream. Therefore, just because it is possible we are wrong, does not mean we are wrong. Furthermore, just because macroevolution is supported by scientific fact does not mean that God had no hand in it. People act as if both things are mutually exclusive. I don't understand how many Christians cannot see evolution as God's tool for creation.

When ur in a dream in that moment you don't know its a dream

Exactly.

...but that's my point. We don't know, and the possibility with the least amount of assumptions should be trusted. (•-• )
...the possibility with the least amount of assumptions should be trusted.
Bad advice. Correction: The truth with no resistance should be trusted.

I am simply following Occam's Razor, a principle created to solve problems. It essentially states that between two principles that hold up equally well, the one with the least assumptions should be considered more correct. We don't know anything to be completely true. There are an infinite amount of possibilities in the universe. There is the possibility that I am a figment of your subconscious mind. There is another possibility that I am a computer program. Therefore, we should hold nothing to be true. In that case, we should trust the 'reality' with the least assumptions. The more we base our theories on reality on our observations, the more they should be trusted. If we assume something to be true, it is not backed up by evidence, but can be equally logically sound.

I'm just saying its a possibility sir.

And that is true, it is a possibility. But I'm sure you've heard of Occam's Razor.
