It's an over rated FPS that tries to be a competitive MP game while at the same time having a deep campaign but falling flat on all fronts. Every subsequent game has gotten worse and worse.

I wouldn't say they have gotten worse, they're just adapting to survive in the gaming world, but 4 failed to do so.

Halo CE was the closest the game got to being competitive. Every game following has introduced a mechanic that lessens the skill gap severely, to the point where I'm Halo 4 anyone can pick up and play and be fantastic at it compared to CE.

Halo is only known to be competitive because it's the closest consoles can ever get. Which is pitiful, seeing as each game is terribly unbalanced, broken, or has some shitty mechanic to lessen the skill gap.

The campaign is as deep as a kiddie pool, and the multiplayer is always broken or unbalanced completely, or has some shit mechanic thrown in to help terrible players be good.

Yes. It's attempt at making a deeper plot was killed by the ending, and all progress made towards being an interesting story was wiped away by Halo 3.
