Destiny 2 will receive an update tomorrow. Players will be required to log in to Destiny 2 again after installing the update. Please stay tuned to @BungieHelp for updates.
This is only meant for #Bungie to read. Everybody else's opinion doesn't really matter to me at this point.
My continual rant is that grinding is for people with too much time on their hands. Get rid of the upgrade requirements for my weapons! I like the game from level 1 - 20 and then it turns south from there. I dislike pretty much every aspect of the game from there. Had I realized it would be like that after level 20 I would definitely not have purchased the game.
These forums suck. How do we contact Bungie directly for support? I want to complain directly to Bungie about this. It's not like the game is free and open source, so where is the professional support? I tried to request a refund here and I would've contacted Bungie directly about that except there doesn't seem to be a place to do that. Your game documentation is horrendous. I tried to look up how Iron Banner works. I didn't find the answer on the Destiny game site, but on a different gamer tutorial web site.
Your story mode is too loosely coupled, too easy to mistakenly play out of order. This was the main feature for me. So when I've already defeated the gate lord and then go to the Reef I'm missing part of the story. Also, who wrote this story? Weak.
All the really awesome gear is stuck in raid or PvP. This is fine except that the gear is randomized. If I work that hard to get through there I want something great, for the class that I just completed it on for the level I completed it on. Easy mode? Then easy level gear. You completed it on hard mode? Then you get Hard mode gear. Proper reward for proper work. Just think of all the poor saps that pull us n00bs through VOG. They deserve something extra special I think.
Please guarantee Ascendant materials for public events. Trying to farm these is so terrible. Seriously, you must've hired too many people from Blizzard or something because random gear is something they would do.
Hunters seem overpowered for PvP. Too many times I've seen them come in with their blade dancer super and just smoke everyone guarding the control point. This is possible for other classes also, but not quite like a blade dancer. My warlock super will not clear a room. The Blade Dancer can jump from corner to corner to corner for as long as their super lasts with much higher (Okay maybe I'm just being completely whiney on that one). I personally am not effective with this class so I stick with the warlock class. The Titan defender subclass seems cheap too for control when they throw up that force field when
New comers to Crucible will be guaranteed a hard time against pretty much everybody else because your enemy has upgraded gear. Good luck! You're going to have tons of fun getting beat down all the time by those fully upgraded shotguns! I just love being one shotted to death.
A crappy player (such as myself) should get some help like shorter cool down on their super or something. My average K/D is a 0.5 so far. I tried camping but I'm still learning the maps so this hasn't worked out very well so far.
Could the placement of the control zones be any worse? I mean seriously. Who designed these maps? It's so open for the person guarding the control point. How can anyone watch 360 degrees? Also, remove the damn radar in PvP.
Camping is so much worse in this game than it ever was in any version of Modern Warfare or related games. And you can practically snipe from half the map away in so many spots. I'm a terrible enough shot that I wasn't able to, but I gave it a whirl and got some kills. It seems too dirty though. I want to be in the action. I want to feel like mo' fo' Superman for a bit you know?
Game economy - who cares? It's not reality. Why does it matter if everyone has the same awesome gear? I want to be able to get the awesome gear too. I paid the same amount as everyone else for the game. This is what the vanity customization crap is for. It shouldn't cost me hard earned and limited marks to get vanity items like capes, or bonds that have 0 benefit in the game. If that's going to be the case then these items should at least have light, strength, discipline, or intelligence on them, not just represent what faction I'm working for.
About the temporary events and vendors, being teased like that is for the bedroom. Just put the stuff in the game already so I can do this stuff on MY time, not yours.
Also, I was looking at the API recently because I became interested in trying to get more information about the Swords of Crota and I was so disappointed to see how little we can learn about the game and surprised to see how much we can learn about the other players. The information I want from the API is to take the guess work out of farming. If you're going to force me to grind for materials, then give me a way to know exactly where they are at any given time.
