The lag on Destiny can be pretty bad at times but the net code on MK X is terrible and destroys the online portion of the game
On FPS games you can get away with slight lag but on fighters it means everything. There's way to much delay online, AGAIN
The offline game is good but unless you have friends that live the series or you are part of a local FGC it gets boring quickly

PC version of MKx is garbage but the online plays really well for me but if its lagging, oh boy its 1-10 FPS game breaking lag

Yeah I heard there was a massive patch for the PC not long after it released because it was crashing people's systems and totally unplayable I personally don't really like what they've done with MK X, it's the only fighting game I've played (and I've played the majority of them) where I can't pull off simple combos because the timing is really weird. I also feel the character animations and movements are too clunky and certain characters are just more easier to play with (which is why most pick Scorpion and Sub Zero) I hope they fix the net code to a certain extent though

One thing to help with the combos is turing off release control in the button setting when choosing a character, it really makes a difference when pulling off combos

Already did that, was never sure why it was on by default anyway. I noticed that I was having trouble with one of Kung Laos combos which was 1,1 (212) 4 or square, square (triangle, square, triangle), circle That should be an easy combo to perform. But the problem is I could pull it off but the timing was a joke, it has to be so precise that you'd never pull it off online, even offline it was very inconsistent The same move was in MK9 and I had no problem pulling it off. Not all the moves are hard to execute on X but there's a clunky-ness to it which puts me off

I think its just that some characters play clunky just like Kung Lao but the newer Characters play smooth. Maybe they were lazy and just port returning characters from Mk9 and took no time to polish them
