Edited by ArtilleryTurtle: 4/25/2015 3:57:26 PMIt was actually edited by him but not written by him. But after some further research ( a quick google search) you are correct. It can be canon or not. That is entirely up to the person. So i guess were both right in the sense that it is canon in reference to the anime but not canon in reference to the manga.

Edited by Cubonej: 4/25/2015 2:57:06 PMhe left with the dragon to heaven at the end of Dragon Ball GT and unable to come back so how would you expect the destiny Universe to fight him? theirs no dragons ball to wish him back. but of couse if Goku was alive then he would win withouth much effort.

Goku didn't die at the end of GT. He merged with Shenron and the dragonballs essentially becoming immortal.
-
He didn't die though
-
He watched his grandson fight the tournament as a ghost sadly.
-
But was he dead? No.
-
Then what are ghosts ? Live die turn into a ghost is usually how it works. Nobody in his family could see him and it was the last time he could watch them.

Goku isn't dead and he can comeback to life if you didn't she. The dragon balls went to one being A.K.A goku. Watch it again
