Nice McDavid edit. Keep saying that his career is over. It's all bullshit from jaded/jealous fans. Change has started in Edmonton and the future is looking better every day. Oh, and there is no way in hell that the flames are winning the cup. Enjoy the one you have.

What happend to the other 3 first rounders? Hall had 14 goals this season LOL what about yakupov??

It had a lot to do with bad coaching, Eakins, and bad upper management. With the coach gone all players performed better with the current intern coach. The immediate future looks better for the oilers. The only player I'd want from the flames would be Bennett. But even with him the flames will be golfing after round two.

I'm an Edmonton guy. I used to like the flames. I really did. I really like Iggy. I wish they could have kept him. Once he left there was nothing for me to cheer for in the organization anymore. Don't get me wrong, I would much rather a Canadian team win the cup (Minus possibly the Habs and Leafs) but other than the oilers I like players more than teams. I like Stamkos, Tavares, Towes, Iggy, doughty etc so I cheer for those teams because of that. I hope Calgary can prove me wrong and make the finals because I'd love to go to a game since it's just down the road.
