Hockey all the way. I've been an Oiler fan, from Edmonton, but am cheering for the flames. Would be nice for canada to get another cup soon. Maybe the Oil will do it with McDavid coming next year!! It will take a few years so don't jump all over me. Ha. Just get rid of Lowe and Mac T. With the current changes I can see it happening sooner rather than later.

I understand that we need more than mcdavid to win. BUT we might possibly be able to attract some good other players because of mcdavid. Nowhere did I say that just because we got him that we will win. I hope we do. I completely understand we need change and a few more players to compete BUT we are headed in the right direction finally. But hey, keep being a dick. Seems to work well for you. Are you by chance a jaded Leafs fan?

-blam!- the leafs.. They are just as bad as oilers... I feel sorry for the people they draft.. I don't know if this is the plan but they waste away yr after yr and get some AWESOME picks and go no where with it.. They need a good goalie, better defense and a real good center..

I agree that we need a goalie and probably at least two good defenseman. I think we will be ok down the middle, McDavid and Hopkins, but could use one if the right person was available and willing to come here. Change for the oilers HAS to start up top and get rid of Lowe and Mac T. The old boys club has to go. Peter Charelli was in town yesterday with his family meeting with the oilers. Change and hope is coming. Life long oiler fan here and hope is on the horizon. Hopefully..... I'm not saying that we will win a cup ASAP but I would just like us to compete and make the playoffs. 9 years is too damn long.

A lot has to change.. Like the leafs.. The coach was one thing they had going for them and they got ride of Carlyle. They need to drop the bad apples. Hope it does work for the oilers. Wouldn't mind a Canadian team to win the cup but until they all start playing better ill cheer for a non canadian team ;0

You are correct. A lot does have to change but hopefully they've started that already. As for Canadian teams is day that Montreal has the best chance out of the remaining Canadian teams. But I can not cheer for that team. Ha. I'd actually like to see NY win a cup. They're overdue. Out of curiosity, what is your team?

I like the pens. Except fleury. Not a big fan of his but that has more to do when he was in net for canada and basically scored on himself and we lost the game. When he's on he's great. But then there are the other games. All that said, I'd love him did the oilers. Ha.

I agree, dont know why they paid that amount of money for him. Hes to on and off for me but these playoffs he is actually doing real well. Its Malki and Crosby that need to light a fire under their ass
