While Chief did arrive in Sol first, his presence onboard the Keyship forced Truth to order the ship in orbit around the Covenant controlled Mars, lest he wanted to bring the Covenant's greatest enemy into the heart of their operations.
During this event, Johnson and Miranda arrived on Earth, presumably by a Sangheili warship.
