I'm not sure where you mean. I've always ran down to the hob spawn near the door.
Where is this spot so I don't stand there

It is up the hill closer to where you enter the area. Most people that have been down by the Hob spawn haven't had any issues. Also having a fireteam where one person is down low allows for snipers to sit up top still.
