Not sure what you mean - it was introduced with the latest patch and it seems to have created a glitch where the enemies will not spawn, the door won't engage but you have already killed everything leaving your only option to go back to orbit.

I mean how do we know it's a deliberate patch, normally they say when they've patched something to stop a cheese.
