I'm glad that after 7 months they've decided to fix things like this, rather than basic issues that should have been addressed by now. Heck, you still can't restart a story mission on anything but normal mode. You still can't skip cutscenes. But this was apparently a pressing issue. Edit: it appears this was unintentional, and is being researched by Bungie.

  • You can restart all missions. Just hit square at every possible chance, the option will not be visible but it's there. If done correctly it will say "would you like to restart" (or whatever the restart warning is) when you select the mission.

  • Good to know, thanks. It didn't used to work that way on ps4 and they never put the fix in their patch notes. I'll have to check when I get home.

  • Try this. Pick the mission you want to restart. When you go I the menu choosing the difficulty, select your level with the square on Playstation, or w/e the restart button is on xbox. It will let you select the difficulty with that button and will restart the mission.

  • Um. You can restart them on any difficulty. When you bring up the difficulty selection menu, hit Square(PS) or X(XBOX) and then launch.

  • I think the effort and time they put into a remake of the purple ball is a better example of retarded misusing of time and money.

  • That's very true. I agree.
