So I'm a 19 year old college student. I go to the community college in my town however it doesn't feel like college to me. I don't get the full experience, it just feels like I go to class do the work and leave. I however have no idea what I should major in, let alone stay in college for. So either I'm going to keep going to college aimlessly or I need to start planning out my future. But there's one thing, I've always wanted to just travel everywhere like all over the United States, Japan, Europe, etc... It's a passion of mine to explore and really see the world, but traveling costs money and I don't have all that much. But I also wanna stay in school and maybe major in sports medicine or physical therapy, because I know how useful a college degree is irl. It's just I feel stuck where I'm at in life right now and I have no idea what to do. I would like some advice and opinions from the older offtopic users on how they chose there path in life or decided what to let go of for there future or any advice or comments. I will only take this into consideration and make my final decision on my own.

  • I was at that same point you were just about 4 years ago! I've completely made my mind up about what I want to do, but some things are just still unattainable for me, such as travel. Honestly you just have to "pick" what you want to do with school and just go for it. It won't take long for you to find out if that's what you want or not. One thing you should not do is take too much time to start school up again, I'm very glad I went back to college at around 20. I know some people who always planned to do it and took time off from school for travel/ other reasons, they never ended up going back. Seriously, just find a good college that's not too expensive, that has what you want to do and just do it. Travel and other things will come soon after. It'll take a bit of work to get to the point where money isn't an issue anymore. Good luck :)
