Any idea If there is a way I can keep a magic build but be able to take stuff down decently? I tried toying with a melee build and it's just too much of a pain for me now.

Edited by Blonic : 4/19/2015 4:06:54 PMIf you are heavily into magic, use an enchantment infusion on your weapon. It will make it do physical damage instead of magical, meaning it can work well with the moonlight greatsword, but the special attack will do 0 damage. However, if you have your lowest stat at close to 20, I suggest infusing a weapon with mundane, as it reduces base damage, but makes it scale like crazy with your lowest stat.

Wut? You'd want to make it scale with int through a magic stone infusion to maximize magic damage. Doing raw infusion kills every weapon except santier's spear.

Well, if magic damage sucks in the dlc, may as well use the int to boost physical damage. Raw infusion does work for some weapons, but not all.

I'm not entirely sure, pretty much all magic is kinda weak against the dlcs.

I'm basically doing it currently, takes like 3-5 spells for a lot of mobs. MoonGS and backstabs help tho
Btw Fume knight be OP
Geez...can you wield a weapon that scales with magic and it do good dmg? Was thinking of still going high int and faith and maybe try to add in some vit, str, and dex, to get a good weapon that scales. I'm not entirely sure how to do this. I've never used a weapon that scaled with faith or int.

Look up "moonlight greatsword" I imbued mine with magic and it scales s with intelligence. Very good heavy attack too.

My favorite weapon lol. I exclusively ascetic Freja just so I can have this sword in new game =p.
