I'm disappointed there's no new raid. Whether it was promised or not is irrelevant to me, because the Raid is what represents the best content in the game in my opinion. A new raid is what a lot of the community was hoping for and the fact that Bungie announces no new raid a month before the DLC drops (when they've been selling the DLC since day 1) is a spit in all of our faces. It would have been the right thing to do to give us all realistic expectations stating something to the effect of "not every dlc will include a raid activity." But they either didn't care or didn't want to in fear of losing expansion pass sales. I'll give house of wolves an optimistic effort, but if it doesn't deliver then I may be done. There's star wars battlefront, halo 5, black ops 3, and many other AAA titles releasing this year so moving on will be easy.

  • Best content? It's the only end game content so far. The ignorance in writing off something you know nothing about or have yet to even try is ridiculous

  • Did you even read my comment? I said I will give House of Wolves an optimistic effort. I think its ridiculous when others write off a comment before reading and comprehending it in its entirety. I'm disappointed there is no Raid, I'm not writing off the DLC just yet.

Myself and many many others feel that the Raids are some of the best end game content and to not have that activity in the DLC is disappointing. Regardless of whether or not it was promised is irrelevant, it's a big part of the game and Urk acknowledges it's importance in his announcement of axing said DLC from House of Wolves and including it in a later iteration of the game. Then to make matters worse, Bungie invites important community members like Goliathon from twitch to come to their headquarters and perpetuate their propaganda that House of Wolves is the complete package. They recruit these community members because they know we love them, that we value their opinions, and we see them as one of us (regular gamers). We value their opinion more than these gaming review sites. Of course these community members are going to be on board for that. They get a free trip, they get to see the inner workings of a gaming company, they get put up in a hotel room, they get fed, they get their asses kissed by the game developers, who wouldn't love that? Would you say one negative thing after getting treated like that, especially from the hand that is feeding you? They know what they're doing, it's all just business to them. The thing is that if Bungie keeps this up they will find their player base dwindling because as consumers we get tired of becoming business decisions. Are you seriously 100% okay with no new raid in HOW? Doesn't this all seem a little shady to you? Learn to think outside the box a little bit and see it for what it really is.

  • Your close minded thinking is "in the box" because you can't see the new game mode is solely to give everyone an equal chance at the games end game content. I don't care who bungie invite in to talk to, I don't need "propaganda" or anything else to see what this is. Also your "many many others" consist of nay sayers and the squeakers that always find something to complain about. You pay money for games, you pay money for additional downloaded content. The game developers do not create these opportunities for you solely for your enjoyment. It is there job, for them to earn a living they must make money from players. There has been two raids thus far and a third would make the game mundane and monotonous, they are making the right choice by the destiny player community and for themselves with the ultimate goal being q better game for all destiny players.

  • In order to make money they must have a product that meets expectations and is enjoyable. If they don't get it together they will lose business, end of story. It's a consumer based market and anyone that knows a lick about it will tell you that one must have a good product in order to succeed. It is their job to please the player base, which includes myself and the naysayers you mentioned. We find the raid extremely enjoyable that's our opinion, if you think it's mundane then that's your opinion, I don't agree but you're entitled to it. As consumers of electronic game content we vote with our money, it will be interesting to see how this DLC performs. Not including a new Raid is a huge risk. Most buyers of DLC are committed players, and it's safe to assume that most people who purchased the DLC have played a Raid and enjoy it. In essence, Bungie is pushing their committed player base with this decision, and there is many of us according to your "squeakers and nay sayers" comment who riddle the forums to annoy you. I know you feel differently and that's okay, but this is how it looks from our point of view.

  • Lose players lol are you forgetting the 81% of destiny players that have failed to complete both raids on all difficulties? This new mode is a doorway accessible to all players, including that minority of 81% that will not want accept this outrageous marketing ploy by bungie and Activision. How dare they give the players what they want

  • And only 89% of players have completed the first story on Destiny according to the PSN achievement list. So your numbers represent what? The amount of people currently playing the game or the total who still play and have at least 1 character at level 30 in order to compete in both raids. Do you see how inaccurate your numbers are compared to the population that is consuming DLC. Consumers of DLC are again those who play the game a lot. I am willing to bet that most people who purchased the house of wolves have played in a Raid.

  • The 81% is from players eligible to do the raid

  • Here's an old link, but nonetheless proves my point that more people play the raid than have completed them. http://www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2014/10/11/bungie-reveals-how-many-players-have-beaten-destinys-vault-of-glass-raid/
