Its illegal because some major company was losing money over weed selling more than his lumber, and he went to the government and spouted a bunch of lies about it, which have now been proven wrong.
It should be just as legal as alcohol and cigarettes, it also does less harm than both. Weed doesn't have the leading chemical of rat poison in it. Weed doesn't destroy your liver.

I didn't ask why it was illegal. I didn't ask anything. Weed is illegal, thats why I'm against it. Sorry for being a good citizen.

I don't smoke it, I'm just saying it shouldn't be illegal anymore. And I honestly don't care about being a good citizen, the u.s. justice system is extremely flawed. I Still follow the laws because I don't want to be arrested. I was just stating my opinion, as were you.
