Yeah. It was a Covenant ship that used its energy projector with pinpoint accuracy to engage UNSC ships well outside our ships' engagement ranges (And any previously known Covenant engagement range). The Pillar of Autumn was able to destroy it, but not before it destroyed several UNSC ships.
