Been a raider since day one and have been playing with a clan for months. Think of the situation like this, instead of getting the present you asked for for Christmas (a new raid) you are getting one that you didn't ask for, but something you may not have thought of yourself that has the potential to be three times better (prison of elders). The POE (prison of elders) is a 3 player co-operative activity and in it bungie has had the opportunity to possibly revamp the loot system in a way that we can earn gear and not get it by random chance.
