Entitlement

Community reaction to the House of Wolves reveal reminded me of one undeniable truth: we exist in a world of gamers who feel unjustifiably entitled. If they are not handed 1) immediate rewards (the exact gear they want) and/or 2) immediate changes in accordance with THEIR needs (forget the larger community), they slip into a complete meltdown. It's the participation ribbon generation. Just because you sign up, you should get everything you want and never lose. Bungie has created a fantastic game complemented by an incredibly responsive design team that in both the upcoming patch and HoW has managed to implement virtually every major change the community has requested. As always (and without even having sampled HoW content) people begin complaining just to have something to complain about after THE FIRST REVEAL. If you want to play a game that requires no effort, luck, skill, or time, go play something else. This clearly isn't the game for you. Quit crying about something you haven't even played yet. Don't act so entitled to get everything you want instantly. It's pathetic.

    • hey man, i totally agree. I love this game, and i think the entitlement is insane today. However, you may want to change this :
If you want to play a game that requires no effort, luck, skill, or time, go play something else.
Thats pretty much what this game is. It requires no effort or skill, as almost everything is easy to do and you can perform poorly and get the same rewards as somebody who is skillful and put in effort. Time is questionable. My brother got a gally in his first 18 hours. I would say time is based on luck in this game. Luck is a gigantic part though! I would just say, if you don't like the game, shut up, and go play something else haha.
