then you clearly don't raid and you would blatantly be pissed off if they didn't release any new crucible maps.
Or you don't play with more than 3 friends !
Or you haven't paid for season pass expecting something that's not being delivered. They've implied what's with every release in many ways.

So you're telling me you have loads of friends you regularly play raids with (6 minimum), you've paid for the dlc already, you're not a crucible junkie and you're happy with 3 player PVE??? Yeah f'kin right!!!!
Anyone in my situation is pissed. Just because you are not doesn't mean others shouldn't speak out. I want 6 player PVE content as was implied by the developers.
Edit: there are a lot of bullshi#ers on here.

I have every gun and armor piece from each raid for all 3 characters... Am I bummed there's no raid? Yeah, disappointed? No... The prison of elders will be a nice change. Still drops rewards just as a raid.

Why don't you be happy?! The arena is going to be bad ass. As for the raid they held back? They are taking time on it so it's not another crota`s end. You should be pumped, the next one will come out better then Vog and that is still way more fun to do then crota

I have completed both raids over 200 times I think. I am HAPPY there is no raid. They said the raid will be released later on. I rather them fine tune it to make it FLAWLESS then have a half finished raid. In the mean time if the new hoarde mode is anything like say zombies in COD its gunna be loads of fun!

I actually like HOW because now they will give us more endgame gear like the trials of osiris and the arena and i also hope they let us upgrade vog gear as well then not everyone looks the same

Play raids, not pissed. Don't play crucible either. Whilst disappointed there isn't a raid, if this arena is good then who cares?

I rather wait a few more months for a raid along the caliber of VoG, rather than getting a Crota like raid that can be soloed in under 13 minutes. Plus Bungie has been looking for Raid activity directors and programmers for months, they just don't have the manpower to put out a descent raid with the release of HoW.

Im pretty stoked for Prison of Elders and Trials of Osiris. The fact that everyone is freaking out about a raid that is still coming, just not when they want it to, is par for the course with this community. Sorry to say but a lot of people are spoiled seems like. You dont even know what Prison of Elders is and yet everyone has already formed opinions.

They're going to release it in a later date which gives them time to make it really awesome and fix any glitches that are currently occurring. You don't want another VOG or CE glitch fest do you? You don't want the blandness of CE in HoW do you? No you don't. So just relax and enjoy what's going to come. We don't even know what the Arena will be like, sure there's speculation but that's just speculation. For all we know it could be complete garbage that's a waste of our time or it could be something that'll be super awesome and worth the wait but for now only time will tell.

Since we know nothing about this activity, it is stupid to be saying it is a bad thing. The only thing to be concerned about at the moment is the fact that this replacement activity hosts only three players at a time. This is pretty ridiculous of Bungie, but is nonetheless a separate issue from being upset that there is not a raid at all.

Just yesterday got an invite to run sword from a friend, but some 15 yr old squeaker joins and is trying to tell everyone how to play, blames his deaths on other people, and then when we finally get to Crota he of course wants to do sword and inevitably dies right off the bat and blames it on Crota standing too early..No more of that nonsense with HoW thankfully..

I raid and I'm not fazed by this. Honestly I also barely play crucible too. Some people just aren't affected by something so stupid as there being no raid, perhaps arena mode will be fun.

They should have released both. A new raid (as we expected) and the Arena.... it would give us some variety. They know the amount of time between HoW and 'Comet' is too long though... so they are holding the raid back. Probably going to charge for it too, since it won't be 'part of the DLC' (that was mentioned in his update... it was a hard decision, but -blam!- you and your raid).

I raid. I also like crucible. And I'm ok with this. They're doing what they think is appropriate for the situation. Rushing a raid is pointless.

I don't raid but am about to start. Doesn't bother me a bit. I still have to learn the first 2, let alone deal with another one. Life's to short to get your blood pressure up over some dumb game. There are billions of people in the world who don't even have a decent pair of shoes. Get some perspective.
