then you clearly don't raid and you would blatantly be pissed off if they didn't release any new crucible maps.
Or you don't play with more than 3 friends !
Or you haven't paid for season pass expecting something that's not being delivered. They've implied what's with every release in many ways.

So you're telling me you have loads of friends you regularly play raids with (6 minimum), you've paid for the dlc already, you're not a crucible junkie and you're happy with 3 player PVE??? Yeah f'kin right!!!!
Anyone in my situation is pissed. Just because you are not doesn't mean others shouldn't speak out. I want 6 player PVE content as was implied by the developers.

Been a raider since day one and have been playing with a clan for months. Think of the situation like this, instead of getting the present you asked for for Christmas (a new raid) you are getting one that you didn't ask for, but something you may not have thought of yourself that has the potential to be three times better (prison of elders). The POE (prison of elders) is a 3 player co-operative activity and in it bungie has had the opportunity to possibly revamp the loot system in a way that we can earn gear and not get it by random chance. If you were an actual raider you would understand the agony of rng and why this change is for the better

It would be difficult to fit in 9 raid runs a week anyway. It doesn't really bother me that much to be honest. Kinda stoked for this arena thing

I don't raid too often, I don't do pvp except for exotic bounties or IB if it has something that I want which is almost never. I've got quite a large friends list with a lot of guys that I play with regularly, I bought both expansions back in September and I'm not pissed off that there is not new raid coming out with HoW. So that basically means that you Sir are wrong!!!

How can you be pissed when they have a chance to putout some excellent pve stuff that finally moves the story forward? On top of that it gives non hardcore people something else to do if its halfway between a raid and a strike.

1 ReplyI love the raids enough to give them time to deliver me the challenge they so desperately want to create. I love the raids enough that I want one where cheesing and glitching aren't even options (not saying I dont partake of the dairy, myself). I love the raids enough that I'll give Bungie the time they need to deliver me that experience that will blow me away every week instead of dreading what random bug will -blam!- up an otherwise awesome and bonding run between me and some friends or randoms from lfg. So I'm totally for a delay, I totally understand it. Doesn't, however, mean I'm gonna shit on you for being pissed. You have every right to be upset, pretty sure they're all upset along with you over at Bungie. But man... what we get when it drops... bet its gonna be awesome.

I have played a shit ton of raids and I can say that I am excited for new content. If they pull this off right, it's looking like The Arena could be very fun.

[/quote] Literally me. I love the raids, don't get me wrong, but I'm glad they aren't releasing it in the DLC I already paid for. In its current state, it wouldn't be very good. They are holding it back for a later date to make it the best it can be. I am content.

I raid, I play with many friends, and I bought the season pass. And yet, the lack of a new raid being added along with HoW doesn't bother me at all. Another whiny post about how the developers aren't giving you whatever you want.

Waaaahhhh I want my content now! Anything besides what I want i retarded! I shouldn't have to wait for Bungie to develop content for me to play! I begged Bungie for PvE content and now that I got it, I'm disappointed! Raiding isn't repetitive but horde mode is! There's no content! I was false advertised to Shut the -blam!- up It's a game If you aren't happy with the development, leave and play a different game that you are happy with

So what if there's no raid? Do you want to have to wait longer for HoW to come out if they make one? BTW 1. I have 6+ friends who raid w/ me 2. I love raids! But to me it doesn't matter about if they release a new raid or not. Sure, I'd b happy if they did, but IDC.

Its still the same difficulty its just not what you're used to.

I'm not mad they didn't release a new raid. Horde mode will be fun, especially if there will be gear associated with it. Even if there isn't I will wait to fully judge if I like it or not when they do live gameplay of it.

I've raided every week actually since January and have thoroughly enjoyed myself. I have met great friends through it. But I also am excited for the HoW to not have a raid for 3 reasons 1) You whiners asked for something different than TDB thus HoW 2) This gives Bungie more time to make a better raid for the future. 3) You will still get gear and weapons from the Arena to level up just like VoG and CE. No one is saying that raids are permanently removed from the game. You can still play VoG and Crota, you can still use the weapons from those raids as you will be able to upgrade them to higher attack. As I said earlier, there will be a raid later this year. Bungie knew that by saying there won't be a raid there would be a backlash but they wouldn't have done it if they weren't confident that the Arena and the new raid are both something special.
