The only normal only items are the guns from Crota. SO technically all you need to do is jump in a normal mode crota checkpoint, kill him and get your chance at Black Hammer, LIght in the Abyss, Swordbreaker, etc, and then start a full Hard Mode CE run after killing NM crota. Same thing without running 2 full CE's on every character. Gee big thanks to bungie though, I guess we may as well start doing 2 CE runs on all 3 characters since we have no effing new raid coming until December 2015. Big thanks bunghole! I bet I'll still be around by that time just like most OG players huh?
