I for my part usually do not have a problem with buying exotic guns from xur. Usually. I didn't say anything when icebreaker was sold for the 100th time and won't say anything when red death will be sold again. Because people who want the gun can have it lile this if they can't get it through rng.
But i don't think he should sell gally. Because it is strong, because it is a trophy. It is totally great getting your first one and for many people it's the only reason to play. Besides hawkmoon ( that you obviously never used ) gally is the one gun that stands out. Of course truth is ok too but let's be honest. Even gally's golden godlike design does make ownig it better then owning truth.

So what you ate saying is that bungie should withhold a gun from the unlucky few in this game that payed for something they cannot/will probably never get? That doesn't sound fair to me. Put yourself in my friend's shoes. 1K hours. No gally. Is that fair?

Rng is not fair at all. The thing is the gally is soooo good it's a thing that keeps players chained to the game. Sell it and they will lose interest or the gun will lose it's importance. Of course it's annoying for your friend, but imagine the opposite. Guy gets destiny this week. He has some friends that are already 32 with multiple chars and pull him through everything. 3 weeks later he has 17 coins and already reached 32 because of his friends, xur sells gally. Your friend and he go for it and get it. Now is that fair? 1000 hrs vs 100?
