I am against it because of conclusive studies showing negative effects of smoking weed.

I love the "It's better than smoking cigarettes argument," which is true, but weed is associated with the development of schizophrenia (small percentage but are you willing to take the risk), lung cancer, head and neck cancer, and brain abnormalities.
Numerous studies have shown that marijuana increases the willingness to attempt to take other drugs (hence the infamous gateway drug).
So please, think before you smoke.

... This a troll? Willingness to take other drugs can always vary person to person. Someone who smokes cigarettes and drinks alcohol may be more likely to try drugs like ecstasy than someone who smokes weed exclusively. The gateway theory is false and has been proven so many times.
