Hey buddy some people have been playing since day one and can't "earn" an exotic because the 'random' drop just wont give it to them, I'm sure bungie knows this hence is why he sells random exotics every week

Just because they played day 1 doesn't mean they should be entitled to exotic drops. Your friends probably got carried that's why they don't see exotic drops and have to go see xur.

I've seen more people get carried through raids and do horrible in crucible and do nothing in strikes get more exotic then the people who actually try and care. Your point is irrelevant
