I think the forum is exaggerating... Again.

Recent update, you know it. Another PvP ammo drop thread. Special Now I've seen multiple "Just use Icebreaker/Invective." Problem is Invective doesn't have the range you all so boast. All it takes for someone to out-play you is simply by using Felwinter's, Found Verdict, and/or a good Judgement by the time they exhaust their Specials on you and what few mates you have doing the same the new crates will probably have spawned. For Shotguns it's all about Range, if yours has less range than his you're going to bite the dirt first given he's as skilled as you are. For Snipers Icebreaker's a relatively cumbersome weapon for PvP, it's high zoom capacity in-hand with it's low RoF make this weapon un-recommendable when put against a good roll on Prudence II, Praedyth's Revenge, and/or P&T for cheeky jibs. Inb4 Univote and No Bath Beyond. NBB: This weapon will reduce your effective point gains per-game. I guarantee you that while you may be a total MLG hard-core badass you will be a better and more reliable asset to your team using another Primary that isn't an AR (Even then exceptions do apply) Univote: I personally love this weapon, it's easily my favorite Roc tool and have at one point used a Univote & Fusion/Sniper build. If you think this is as viable as you hope you've not used this strategy as it greatly limits your engagement options by an incredible amount, I myself have only ever increased my performance from a 1.3 using that to the 1.63 you see now by using more conventional primary weapons. And I look forward to seeing the dismay of those who plan to swap Specials mid-game from Icebreaker expecting a cash-in, in PvP, swapping specials mid-game empties your reserves. I know. Heavy I run MGs, I wait to pick up my lot until after Rockets go through their power-phase, I'm still glad this is coming. MGs have a very high kill cap, much more than four rockets will provide. But only if you live long enough to make the best use out of the drop. Rockets don't have a high cap, but are great countermeasures for MGs. It's now up to the players to provide play and counter-play against and for these limitations. I greatly look forward to the challenge. EDIT: For a TL;DR just read the segments highlighted by embolden portions based on your dilemma, if I am somehow wrong in my assessment please mention so in the comments as it'd be a pleasure to have a logical debate.
