Guess it could go that way. They do ha e a Greek theme, the cabal. Still, at no point in any lore, grimoire cards or game play, are the cabal ever associated with the term 'God.'

They don't have to be called gods, it's just a cool name the devs came up for the DLC lol. Don't take it so literally
