Theory one: 3 missions 1 strike 1 raid. Assuming either fallen or hive, as those have been the only races that use the term 'God' in their lore. Theory 2: that is the finalized name of comet, and will be huge. Adding a lot of good guy back story would make me put it into the realm of the creation of the traveler. Those are my top 2 guesses.

  • Lol you're so wrong xD Forge of Gods is the fourth and final DLC, focused on the Cabal and after that comes Destiny 2. The Comet is called Plague of Darkness. Thought to be focused on the Hive. It comes after House of Wolves. After the Comet comes the next Vex DLC and then Forge of Gods.

Their enemy names are similar to that of the roman military (Legionary, Phalanx, Centurion). The Romans worshiped many Gods, so the Cabal could be similar. Just a thought!

  • Guess it could go that way. They do ha e a Greek theme, the cabal. Still, at no point in any lore, grimoire cards or game play, are the cabal ever associated with the term 'God.'

  • They don't have to be called gods, it's just a cool name the devs came up for the DLC lol. Don't take it so literally
