Warner Brothers Picked up the Rights to...

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Movie. I'm not sure how I feel about this. What worries me is that one of the scariest things about the game was that you were the one under all that pressure. The movies won't be able to capture that, because it won't be you trying not to buckle under the pressure of keeping the animatronics out, it'll be some actor.

I can see it being good if they just make it a straight up horror movie with the lore of the games and have it well written and directed, but nothing to do with game mechanics like doom tried to do. I'm curious as to what perspective it would be at. Personally I would like to see either from a high school kid employee or a child's perspective. Off the top of my head it can open with the fazbears diner and maybe one of the kids witnesses the first murder. It's cliche but then he can grow up and try to confront his fears by going back with friends or something. They break in around the time of the purple guy and the next spree of murders and the kid is left locked in almost catching him and left unconscious in the security room. He wakes up to the freshly stuffed animatronics trying to kill him. That's act 1. Act 2 can go a lot of different ways but I'm at work so can't put much thought into it yet. Basically so far just using fnaf2. The other two don't lend well to a concise movie
