Well with my dad as a good example, it is a gateway drug no matter how you see it. I personally have seen, and been around, people that started smoking weed and then going to the more hardcore shit.

I'm against almost all drugs, I have seen them ruin the lives of those I care about. Weed is the only drug I am not against, it is great to help deal with pain and very severe stress. I have personally never used it.

Y do ppl say weed is a gateway drug????? If your a drugee the second u try anything drug related your hooked it doesn't have to do anything with pot it has to do with the individual and his quality of life the questions you should b asking should b what's causing ur dad to do drugs... A lot of ppl will try anything just to ignore what stress there dealing with

People who comment they are against it and it's for idiots and morons and that it kills you & gives you cancer.. You guys are the idiots & the morons, Weed is not a drug the government have just classed it as a drug and put a label on it.. The tablets you buy from a pharmacy are a drug, Weed is a natural herb, people smoke it because it opens your eyes to the world, it enhances your senses & gets rid of the ones you don't want such as pain.. Weed kills cancer cells.. It doesn't cause it, the tobacco you may mix with it causes it.. If you don't know everyone is born with cancer cells already in them, which the chemicals in tobacco enhances and actually brings them out & then weed destroys them it's proven If you haven't already go on YouTube and look for the 4 year old girl who was having hundreds of seizures a day.. Her parents actually gave her cannabis oils and now on a bad day she will have 10 at the most, some days none If you go to a nightclub or any sort of 'social' area you will find violence due to alcohol abuse or even a social chat that has escalated and even friends are pounding on each other And yet I bet you if you're anything like me or even at some kind of house party get together the stoners corner the people will either be in a deep sleep or strangers becoming best friends and having debates on political discussions or trying to solve world hunger Weed is an amazing herb and I think everyone in the world should be in taking it in one form or another wether smoking it eating it or even the cannabis drinks and eye drops There has never been a reported death on weed yet throughout history there has been hundreds of thousands - millions on alcohol & even thousands from overdosing on such small things as Paracetamol & these are things you can buy off a counter.. And you guys are saying WEED IS A KILLER? You guys are the dumb morons, do your research.. Don't mock it until you try it! I find the amount of people that are against it on this thread... depressing.

I am against it where it is illegal, simply because of the trouble it can bring. I know I know, alcohol is worse blah blah blah. If you got wife/kids/good job....obtaining and using it illegally....you put all those things at risk for your habit. I hope they find a way of testing for recency of use, such as a field sobriety test for DUIs, so when it is illegal everywhere they have an actual accurate way of telling how goofed up you are. That will need enforcement too. Troll away.
