Why are you against weed?
I am simply curious as to what the more popular reasons are for people who are against the use of cannabis.
So if you are against it, what is your reason?

2 RepliesI'm not against it, exactly. I've done it, wouldn't do it again. I don't have a true reason, but I'm pulling a Socrates here and stopping because it is illegal. That being said, I don't judge anyone nor would I rat them out for it. I wouldn't encourage my future children to do it, even if it is legalized. No matter what anyone says, any kind of smoke is bad for your lungs. But whatever, to each their own.

It causes the same breathing problems as smoking tobacco. It can and does have serious negative side effects if you smoke while pregnant or nursing. Some studies have shown that over time it can decrease both sperm production and the strength of your immune system. These studies and facts are completely ignored so people can "420 blazeit." That's my issue with weed but hey, "yolo."

2 RepliesI used to be a huge pot head. But haven't smoked it in 2 years. My Gf smoked it from time to time, and I don't mind it cause she becomes more relaxed and less naggy when she does. But she doesn't clean a dam thing when she's always stoned so I make her do her chores first

People who use other drugs after doing weed would do it anyway. Addictive personalities. I've done weed once. Never done anything else. And even though I liked it, I didn't feel the urge to keep doing it.

I'm not. I just don't use it cause I don't want to, but I've got nothing against those who do. On another hand, 50% of potheads are nice people, the other 50% are complete assholes for some reason. They act all aggressive when they're high and insult everyone.

61 RepliesBecause it turns good people into losers who stop caring about important things and who would rather get high than fix their problems then end up quitting every thing that they care about and eventually move on to bigger drugs and O.D. I've seen it happen to too many people that I cared about so as far as I'm concerned drugs are the worst thing you could ever do .

1 ReplyI'm not against it, but I'm against people who believe that it's no side effects what so ever. That it is harmless in any way. Sure cigarettes and alcohol is more harmful, but at least we are willing to understand that it is a side effect that isn't good for us. Weed smokers who are aware of the side effects I'm supporting because he/she knows that it's still not good for them, but do it of own free will. As long as it don't take over their lives of course

Im against it if your underage, have mental problems, or are taking other medication. Otherwise do what you want. It's your body and life, not mine.

I use it as medicine to deal with chronic migraine due to intercranial hypertension, my body makes too much spinal fluid. After being on every pharmaceutical opiate known to man and battling addiction to their "medicine" I can personally guarantee it is safer than any controlled substance your doctor would prescribe.

3 RepliesI'm against weed because I'm a 13 - 17 year old straight-edge who has never partied in my life and plans on saving myself for marriage. I was told that all drugs are equally bad and I believe it blindly without doing any further investigative research. Oh and even though God made marijuana, it must have been an accident.
