My friend and I actually had an idea that there should be no such thing as gender. He and she would represent sex, and everything else (colors, toys, clothes, etc.) had nothing attached to them. You bought what you liked.

That's a sociological concept actually, one that's much discussed in relation to the sociology of sexualities. In a long time from now, that will probably be the norm. Almost everything will be sexually and gender neutral except for the most basic things (like your actual sex). That will be a much better, progressive future, but it's a ways off. In truth, the ancient civilizations (like the ancient Egyptians) were actually far more progressive in many ways than our current societies, but the Christian Dark Age messed everything up. This is actually one of many concepts I like to discuss. It's nice to see others do too.

High school or university/college?

High school. It's with a really good teacher, though.

Edited by Charlemagne: 4/8/2015 12:22:39 AMThat's good. I only asked to know if it would be a general or specific course. You're going to learn a lot of new concepts and patterns in society that you may have not even suspected to exist before. That said, you're probably also going to do a ton of writing. Feel free to message me about any questions you have on it. I'd be very willing to help you find an answer (since most questions don't have definite answers in sociology, get used to the headache of arguing your points).

XD I will have to! Thanks :)
