Neither Xûr nor RNG has anything to do with "earning" if you ask me. RNG because it's obviously random, Xûr because it basically takes 1 hour at max to farm 27 Strange Coins and buy an exotic what is way to easy.
But in the end what matters is [i]what takes longer on average? Which way is harder on average? The focus in the last to sentences is [b]on average![/b][/i]
The answer is pretty simple: Even though some people get GHorn, Thunderlord or Red Death after 1 or 2 Raids (dafuq), most people have to struggle for months to get them. If you now look at Xûr you can tell that once he sells them everybody can get it with almost no effort - with no regards on how much time you've played Destiny.
This is my point of view and nobody can tell anything about it. I neither hate nor is my theory based on hatred, it's just fact. Get it right whoever supports Xûrning.
