Im the type of player that is pretty lenient when it comes to new players, but im very strict with those players being prepared. I can accept a 30 going into VoG since that is the highest level the enemies are. That means no reduction in damage done, or increase in damage taken. I will not accept a 29 into VoG simply because attaining 30 or higher is an easy task. If someone isn't patient enough to take the time to get prepared before entering the raid, then i have no desire to carry those people. Those people do reduced damage, so whatever they don't do, the rest of the group needs to make up for (the definition of carrying). I do make exceptions to this, since i'm not without sympathy for those players, but if half the group is made up of under leveled individuls, i wont stay. Like i said, getting to at least 30 isn't difficult. So i expect people to at least be that high before attempting the higher level content. I also believe weapons should be properly upgraded, but I don't usually make a big deal out of that. The biggest concern is the level difference. With. 40% reduction in damage for just 1 level difference, i dont think i'm being unfair by wanting level allropriate players in my fireteam.
