Lol I've got this game 2 months ago (250+ hours) have 2 dif 32's+a 28 that I earned without being constantly carried like many others and I even carry guys who got this game at launch. It just depends on your learning ability/skill/dedication honestly. The only thing that would make me seem like a noob is the lack of exotics that I used/own, I only have 2, maxed Truth and Icebreaker.
So I agree with you entirely.

yea i just bought the game about 2 months ago, on my own, i didn't buy destiny back when it came out because i didn't have time for video games, and i promise i am not a noob. i will have my 3rd account to level 32 some time this week. and I have almost all the exotics at this point, the only ones that i am missing that are even important are the Necrocasm, Truth, P&T, and Hawkmoon, i even have 2 Gjallarhorns.
