There have been plenty of new releases. People just like playing what they already know. Of course, there are plenty of xbots and sony ponies who want a skyrim remastered, because they are derps.

While I was fine with remasters for a little while, I do agree that it's getting old. We need new content. Though I do love the Handsome Collection, simply because I never played Borderlands 2 or the Pre-Sequel. MCC because Halo 2 looks amazing now. But yeah, this needs to stop.

I wouldn't mind remaster of older games. Give me a revamped Shadowman 64 and I'll throw all the money at you. But anything from current-last gen shouldn't even be considered.

I skipped borderlands pre sequel because I saw some interview where the possibility of next gen(it was at the time) was left open, just in case. For my patience I get to play the better looking version and I get borderlands 2 as a bonus. That's just my experience with one game. not everyone buys games at launch so then an improved version, especially of a big game like last of us or gta v gets announced and if you've been patient that long why not let the new version drop and get that? I vote with my wallet, if I don't want it I don't buy it. There are plenty of old games I would gladly buy again and plenty of new games that I wouldn't touch because they're broke or just don't speak to me.

Well, I'm always excited by new games and IPs I have enjoyed the Remasters. I never got to play the early Halos or Borderlands or DMC for that matter. So it is cool to play these great games and get them at there best looking.

I think the borderlands was good because they are trying to raise money for a new borderlands and halo mcc was good because it had old games like halo 1 & 2 on it. Plus the multiplayer has a good nostalgic trip. But the rest that are either out people want out I think is just stupid. People wanting a skyrim remaster really pisses me off. If Bethesda would do anything like that they would make a full morrowind overhaul. Which I would be fine with

I feel sorry for any company trying to make a game today in this day and age as even remastered versions that are better than the were by far and that were great games get slated for issues. People these days live in a society of complaints and aggression based pushed opinions, the personality of the average gamer these days is discusting, it's like nobody knows how to be civil and enjoy games any more. Some of the ports are amazing and plating borderlands again looking so beautiful with my missis on my evenings is going to keep our gaming time entertained for a long time to come. It's better by far than it ever was. People need to just get off the internet and quit complaining about every little issue problem and quirk with a game and either pay something or don't. its like the whole world grew dum and discusting over night at the moment xbox one and ps4 was announced. People struggle to not be a dick and even looking at this site makes my head hurt and the part of me inside that's most human takes a huge sigh and utters "what am I doing here" I don't think it's just referring to this site one bit.
