I've never had a problem with vault space and don't imagine I will. Let Bungie work on important stuff. The vault space issue is actually not an issue for most people. People create one because they can't dismantle their dupes or are hoarding trophies that no one but them can see. You don't need 5 icebreakers and 5 hawkmoons!

  • So you'll still be happy to use that tiny outdated poorly designed vault in 9 years time when your approaching endgame, I doubt it very much, change is good and can only ever be for the further improvment of this game, and that vault can only get better whether it's to create more space or to have it more organized into specific categories, thank God people like you aren't in charge of "evolving" this game over the next 10 years other wise we'd still be playing the same game released last September and nothing would have changed.

While I agree that I don't "need" duplicates, one might also argue we don't "need" to play video games. The feedback here is that Bungie created a game with loot, then forces its top players to destroy the loot they find due to lack of space. You may not need extra space, and that's fine. But many people do. Bungie shouldn't ignore the top, most loyal players of the game who desperately need more space, simply because the mediocre, fair-weather fans don't need more space.

  • I see your argument. You might be taking things a bit far with this game, though. I'd personally like more content rather than fixing minuscule things for a minuscule amount of people. Your $ doesn't have more value than mine you know. Vault snob or not.

  • To comment on "not needing duplicates" statement, having duplicates can actually create space and efficient. Not to insult anyone's intelligence but some have minds that don't over evaluate things, but for every item you have that you use on all your characters, requires a slot free for you to drop off and move to the designated character of choice. So for example, if one finds himself using "Black Hammer" and "Gjallarhorn" (which most I assume do) then depending on how full his bags are, he could get away with that one slot but if he had maxed out in either his secondary or heavy slots, then he'd need two vault slots just to transfer those items. Obviously, this is probably a select portion of the population, I'm included unfortunately because I like keeping raid weapons as they have their own specific needs at times, but having three Gjallarhorns and Black Hammers makes it easy and knowing I have a few extra slots that can be used for storing and not transactions between characters.
