These stats don't rly reveal anything. I bet 60% or more of players use hunters as a main in PvP. What you really would want to see is the average and/or median K/D for each class. I bet hunters will be higher than everyone else, but I doubt it would be that drastic.

 • It averages to a .76 difference between the top 100 Hunters and Titans. And yes... that's a huge margin when you consider that most of those guys are rocking over a 3.0.....

 • I still don't think that means much... You'd have to look at the population as a whole, not just the top 100. The results will be skewed bc the top are hunters (which could just be that most players use hunters). Yes, that's a big difference, but the top players could just main a hunter bc that's what feels best to them. I know for me, the bunter's jump is wayyy more intuitive and smooth than the other classes. That and the reload/stability perks help me out a lot. Doesn't mean the class is OP tho.. I think it's just the easiest to get comfortable with.

 • And it wasn't the top 100... It was the top 100 Hunters and the top 100 Titans.

 • Yeah but that's not my point. Taking the best 100 of each class will still skew the results. MOST players are hunters. Doesn't it make sense then, that MOST of the best players will be hunters? You will have a much higher percentage of better players that are hunters simply because there are more that play with a hunter. And I added the part of my opinion in my last post - I basically said that the hunter was easiest to use (which goes along with your opinion) but to try and support why there could be a higher number of hunters than other classes. That was it.

If you look at actual class spread for the total game, it comes out fairly even. It's something like 36/33/31... But then we look at pvp and the leader boards don't reflect that. It ignores player behavior. People are going to gravitate towards the thing most likely to provide a win. More players taken into account is not going to do anything but dilute the results! I want to see what the best players choose! I want to see how well the best of each class performs. That's all I'm saying.

 • Well then we want different things out of the results. I'm not looking at it from the standpoint of "what do the best do?" I'm looking at it from the standpoint of "is the hunter class overpowered?" It could be. If I wanted to get the best look at it, I would have to look at the whole population to see how everyone handles each class. And yes, the 36/33/31 numbers are pretty even. But is that just how many of those characters were created, or the amount of time spent on each? Most players who have considerable time in this game will have all 3 classes, but they only main one in PvP. To your point, a majority of those probably main a hunter for said reasons. I'm not going to deny that the hunter is pretty much built for PvP with its agility and supers. But I just think if you look at the whole population it'll give you a better idea bc that's what bigger populations do. And it'll probably end up being a noticeable difference with hunters leading, but I doubt it would be .76 different. Maybe .3-.4 (still a big difference). I see your point... I'm not trying to say that hunters aren't more powerful than the other classes. Players will gravitate toward what gives them the best opportunity to win, and they will also gravitate what is more comfortable for them as well. For example, I'm more comfortable with the hunter's jump and reload/stability perks, so I do better with him. Doesn't necessarily mean he's OP. There's 2 sides to the equation is all I'm getting at with that point.

 • So basically no matter what numbers are shown... ...if it doesn't fit in with your opinion, they don't mean much? Is that right?

 • No, I'm talking about statistics in general. You shouldn't take a small sample and apply it to the entire population, when it really could or could not be indicative of the entire population. The top players could all be hunters because MOST players are hunters, so that will skew the results. If you want to get a good number, take the average K/D of the ENTIRE population of each class and compare them. That will give you a more accurate depiction. I only added my opinion to try and prove the fact of why there would be more ppl who use hunters - bc it could just be an easier class to use.

 • Those stats were taken from the top 100 of each class! The very best players of this game with a minimum of 500 matches! There is a .1 spread between Titans and Warlocks. That's negligible... A .76 k/d spread isn't. It's the sign of a problem.
