I think, if last Gen is really holding things back, then they need to rework the vault system in general. It might be annoying, but i think the solution that would give us most room would be to make each section (armor, weapons, and items) completely separate. As in, have to go to a different one of the vault columns to access each different section.

Not immediately. But i do think that, if they want their game to be everything they said it would, they're gonna have to drop last Gen for 2. It's shitty. But destiny was supposed to be ground beaking awesomeness. But it's not. It feels like a shell of what it could have been. And i do think that at least some of the fault is due to making it for last Gen systems. But they're definitely not the only thing holding the game back

Oh, I fully expect 2 to be current gen only. I'd be disappointed if it wasn't, and I don't own one yet! But I've seen calls for comet to be current only, in spite of the dangerous precedent it would set abandoning a platform before all dlc was released. I'm a bit upset that Bungie is kind of throwing last gen under the bus, letting it take the heat for their failure to live up to their hype.

Yah that would just be stupid. Even if they did change it for comet, they couldn't change the base game enough to make it worth it.
