How did Bungie go down from being a top tier game developer to this....
even the user rating is 6/10...

How much would YOU rate Destiny??
To me this game is a 6/10 mainly due to how addictive it is to play with others in strikes and raids... everything else needs MAJOR improvements and where is that story at?
but i did get my money's worth after 500ish hours

I've had around 700hrs game play and I'm bored. Once I got the Gjallarhorn I lost interest. I tried iron banner and did ok,but the lag made me frustrated and I gave up. I'm only playing the Nightfall and Crota raid with my friend to help him get blackhammer then I put it aside for the rest of the week. I'm new to gaming and Destiny was the first game I really got into. For me it was more about the whole experience and not just the game itself. It's helped with my shyness and I'm now more confident. The people I met along the way made it what it is for me and some are now good friends. I played so much because of them and I have an illness that makes me house bound alot of the time, because while I was on Destiny I forgot I was ill,Destiny was my escape! I'm going to give HoW a go as I had already purchased it. Going to see how I feel after that as to whether I continue with future releases. And definitely going to not binge on it like before. 7.5-8/10. Could be better but I can't really complain. For all its flaws it's given me more than just hours on a game. Worth my money.

Just no content for another month ._.

9/10. The only downside is Warlocks, otherwise it would be a 10/10.

When I play destiny it doesn't take long for me to get bored now. I'm a day 1 player and have got all the loot (except Hawkmoon and I'm on ps4 too :( ) But then this game is so addictive and I find the gameplay awesome. This is the first time I played muliplayer pvp in a shooter, and although I'm awful, it's still great. I haven't played this much on a game since Fallout 3 and Skyrim. However the story is these are leagues better than Destiny's "story"/ grimoire novel. And not quite as addictive as Dark Souls imo. 8/10 for me.

Playing through the story for the first time? 7/10 and I am being generous because you can beat it with friends. The writing, dialogue, cutscenes, story, etc... Is very lackluster and you often ask yourself why am I doing this? Gun play was phenomenal and supers could had been more destructive vs the Ai. Constant "fixes" to guns and nerfs are just sucking the life out of this game. Raids alone were a 9/10 but now you can complete a full crota run without even using your mic and atheon is a joke. Destiny only has a high replay value because we have to grind the same missions and strikes to get the items we want. Nightfall is a poor excuse to make us replay a strike with a modifier. The weekly heroic being the same as the nightfall is even more repetitive. If you think destiny is the best game ever zomg then you are addicted to the grind, put destiny down and try other games!

7.5/10

9/10 The only game I would give a 10 is Arkham asylum or Arkham city

knack got a 6/10... I got it with my PS4 and enjoyed it for the short play life that it had, destiny is a much better game than knack.. destiny isn't perfect but it's definitely not a 6.. hundreds of thousands of people don't log hundreds of hours in months on a game that is deserving of a 6/10 rating

I feel like the ratings will go up once how is released. I hated this game at first and i received it as a Christmas gift. I can only imagine what the day one players thought of it, but as time goes on and the small changes and fixes are released, I find myself enjoying it more and more. I will admit though that if I didn't have friends who played, I would have quit within a week. I also recommend they stop nerfing weapons and buff back the weapon classes that were destroyed. I always hated the burst rifles in Halo and now i find myself being forced to use them all over again in crucible. After I spend another $20 on it, I think it will be a solid 8/10. If house of wolves sucks, my opinion of destiny will stay at 6/10. 6 points for graphics, ingenuity, and gameplay but lacking everything that makes a game truly great. If the Hawkmoon ever dropped I would rate it 15/10... just saying... but so far I'm stuck getting dragons breath over and over again :(

6/10 is the fair score to me. Major failings in the story department and loot distribution (seriously, RNG, worst idea ever) prevent it from getting a passing score. It is the most fun 6/10 ever made though.

They all reviewed it to early

Rate it on Xbox. No way it scores above 65...

-
8.5/10

I ignore ratings.....they are bribed anyway. I just read the comments and filter out the idiots who make them.

It's an addictive game, just like the cell phone "games," but I am out after HoW drops. Yes, I have put in hundreds of hours, but that's because of the addictive nature of the grind, not the game being great. All in all, I'll be waiting for reviews of Destiny 2 and buying it used if they are good. Bungie has lost me as a customer after this cut-up game.

The game is pure garbage.
-
I've never spent more time on a game than I have in destiny. 9/10 for me.

Edited by jackdubs25: 3/25/2015 1:40:23 AM9/10. No game has enticed me like this in a long time (Skyrim). That being said, the story was a complete letdown, which is why it's not a 10 for me.

Edited by Onxide: 3/25/2015 4:44:07 AM7/10 seem pretty fair lol

7/10, the story's lackluster and this game is very repetitive. Still, the overall game mechanics are great.
