The Denial is Real.
This game is shit. But every day you'll see at least 5 desticles come out of the closet and defend their beloved game "destiny"...
What do you even find good in this game
Pros:
Soundtrack
Skyboxes and artstyle
Cons:
Sub-par gameplay
Fücking grind to hell
Repetitiveness in missions
Terrible Story
Bad RNG system
Misinformed hype
DLC cut content
Etc.

I agree with this. The strikes (esp. nightfalls) get repetitive just doing them over and over. Plus the RNG is pretty cheeks. They need to come out w DLC fast before this game dies out, which it can and will.

Sub lar gameplay? The gameolay is the main reason people keep playing, people play WoW warcraft for an excellent loot system but not gameplay, people play destiny for excellent gameplay, but not because of the loot system

I enjoy destiny because the mechanics are fun. Have you ever played a sport like pool or darts? It's very repetitive and it's the same board and tools every time, but it's fun to do the same thing over and over because of the feel of nailing a bullseye or sinking that ball. The same goes for Destiny, the way the guns shoot, grenades explode and send bodies flying, the way headshots pop. The mechanics are very satisfying. It's like a fun sport I do for a few hours every now and then. It's hard to defend the game's many faults, but there's more to Destiny than the artwork.

I think the reason for all of the bitching is the mix of player base here. On one side you have fps players that hate the grind, rng, cry for buffs and nerfs, etc..on the other side you have mmo players that want more story, hate pvp events, hate crucible, etc...then there are the other 90% of us that play it for what it is. I like pvp, even though I am not good at it. I like the pve parts of the game as well, and I am patiently waiting to see what the game evolves into. For $60 + $30 for dlc, I have played steady since September. There have only been a few games that I have gotten that kind of value from.

DLC was worth $20 bucks in the raid alone. However if the next dlc is as short I'll probably stop playing. Game play is truly top notch. PVE elements are amazing. Strikes were fun but like anything they grew old quickly. Weapons are cool but need far more exotics.

Meh, the game actually plays really well. It's very easy to control and I love that about destiny. I could care less about stories honestly. I know some people love that, as long as I get the idea of what's going on I'm fine. RNG is nothing new to me. As I use to play WoW, I'd go weeks before getting 1 piece of gear. When a boss only drops 3 or 4 things and you have 40 players there, it's quite the grind. So with destiny, when every individual player gets a chance at loot, I think that's great. There are a lot of flaws, but this is a very unique game. It combines a lot of different styles. I seriously believe why people hate it, is because they're not use to grinding or doing something and not getting a great reward for it.

Your opinion isn't even that controversial. Go play Far Cry 4 or something, might be more your style if you haven't tried it yet.
