I got my first Gjallarhorn the second week of playing in a crucible match. It was also my first exotic. Reaction: "wtf is this thing?"

Well I had one from Xur, but the first time I had one drop I was pretty pumped. Didn't want to freak out though so I wouldn't piss off my raid team lol however I don't know whats worse; acting excited or acting like its no big deal?

I got it from Atheon. Yeah I was happy to finally have it but then I kinda thought....What now? Everyone says it's better to have it drop than but it from Xur but I would have felt the same if Xur sold it.

I was having a bad day in raid runs. Used to run two warlocks, now I'm all 3 classes but that's irrelevant. Point of the story is, I ran CE every week with two warlocks, hoping to finally get the chest armour so I could be 32. Well, I didn't get that, but the Deathsinger comes around, we kill her, get the cp, and I see Ghorn on the side of my screen. I had to put my controller down for a second and I think I made a noise or something because my friends were asking me what's up and I told them what I had gotten which was followed by some mixed moans and cheers from them. I still treasure it, but the excitement wore off not even the next day and I use Hunger or Song more often anyway to free the exotic slot. Only use it if I really need it now.

1 ReplyI actually squealed then told my fireteam that I could not care less about any other gun or launcher now! Been my go to weapon for a while now. Won it on VOG hard.

1 ReplyGetting the Gorgon checkpoint like always, every week. It came to a point where It was just a thing I did every week not expecting to get anything special. Then after 2 weeks of being sick I come back to start my chores, then Bam. Dropped. It wasn't a "OMG" happy, but more of a "FINALLY" moment

Didn't see it drop... Finished a NF and my son woke so I went to grab him, came back and we were at the tower and my friends were like "did you see what you got ?" And I saw, then I was "niiiiiiice" It was a good day :D
