Your playing to the other teams advantage. If anything, let them come to you and do away with the shotgun and instead use a sniper. It seems like you had 2 bases and if not, than your focus should have been just that and let them have that one base. I remember playing COD 2 years ago with a bunch of cool people. Before they jumped in we were getting owned by a group with a very similar strategy to what u see here. I mentioned to them what they were doing and that we were getting owned. They chuckled and said that they're not worried. We started owning them and it was painful to just see this happening.
